321 stainless steel tubing is one of the most desirable materials for exhaust systems because of its excellent resistance to fatigue and cracking at elevated temperatures.
It is usually the material of choice for high temperature turbo applications, unless extreme requirements indicate the use of
Inconel.

We have extensive experience with 321 and will be happy to assist you in using it.

Tier Pricing Note:

  Part Number System for Bends

For U–bends you can determine the CenterLine Radius ( CLR ) by measuring across the outside edges of the bend, subtracting the tubing O.D., and dividing by 2.

A UB-200-40-16-321, for example, measures 10” across the outside edges, and has an O.D. of 2”.   Subtracting 2” from 10” gives 8”, and dividing by 2 equals 4”; so the CLR is 4”.

Burns Stainless has a three-tier pricing structure for our mandrel bends and straight tubing.  Discounts on these products are based upon the size of the order and customer purchasing history.

Tier 1 prices, our retail, small quantity prices, are listed here and in our 2007 Catalog.

To qualify for Tier 2 pricing, customers must make a single order in excess of $500 or have accumulated more than $2500 in purchases within the preceding 12 months.

In order to qualify for Tier 3 pricing, customers must make a single order greater than $1000 or have purchased in excess of $5000 within the last 12 months.

Custom bending is available for quantities of 50 pieces or more.
