March is here and racing has started again, at least for the folks in the south. The Daytona 24 Hour race and the Daytona 500 NASCAR race in Florida and the NHRA Winternationals in California have inaugurated the US racing season. The F1 season opener in Bahrain will initiate that circus next weekend. That's all good and fine, but most of you are still stuck in the garage putting the finishing touches on your winter car projects (when you are not shoveling snow). Don't worry, you'll get it buttoned up in time for your first race. Burns Stainless wishes you a tremendous 2010 race season.

| The Bundle of Snakes

 Many of you have seen the so-called "bundle-of-snakes" headers on the infamous Ford GT40s of the late sixties. Those beautiful works of art built in the likes of Dan Gurney's shop where two tubes from each bank of the V-8 are crossed over the engine to collect in 4-1 collectors with opposing tubes. What was the purpose of these tangled Rube Goldberg-like devices?
